Apple, the most reputed company toppling the smartphones industry at present is about to pay $118,000 to Chinese Authors for violating copyrights. All of us are familiar with copyrights and cases which involves their violation. China Daily mentioned that a court was held in Beijing. The court gave its verdict that Apple would pay $118,000 to three Chinese authors.
According to authors Apple has been found guilty of stocking their books on its App Store without any permission or so. They said that it was done through Apps without their will. And in this case, Copyright law finds its way in.
The law was maintained against Apple by the Writers Right Protection Union (also known as the Writers' Rights Alliance), the Union to protects the copyrights of authors whose works are published online and is present on the web.
